Project "Strengthening Access to Justice for the Poor in the Russian Federation" (2008-2012)
funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development as an administrator of the Grant provided by the Government of Japan through the Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF).
Implementation of Component in Perm Region
In Perm region ten legal aid centers were established by the Institute together with the Perm Regional Human Rights Center in ten following towns:
- Solikamsk (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Solikamsk, Krasnovirshersk and Cherdinsk districts);
- Berezniki (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Usolsk, Iljinsk and Dobryansk districts);
- Chusovoy (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Chusovoy, Lisvensk, Gornozavodskoy districts);
- Gubaha (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Gubaha, Alexandrovsk, Kisel and Gremyachinsk districts);
- Kungur (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Kungur, Berezovsk, Ordinsk, Ust’-Kishertsk and Suksunsk districts);
- Chernushka (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Chernushsk, Octyabrsk, Uinsk, and Bardim districts);
- Tchaikovsky (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Tchaikovsky, Elovsk, Osinsk and Chastinsk districts);
- Kudimkar (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Kudimkar, Yusvensk, Yurlinsk, Kochevsk, Kosonsk, and Gainsk districts);
- Krasnokamsk (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Krasnokamsk, Karagaisk, Nitvensk, and Ohansk districts);
- Ocher (provides legal aid to the dwellers of Ocher, Vereshaginsk, Sivin and Bolshesosnovsk districts).;
Once in a month the consultants of each center conduct the field trips to the distant villages, where they provide legal advice to the dwellers.
